Overview

At the initiative of a festival adapting a play to the cinema, "Cid Story" is a short film that takes up act 3 scene 3 of Corneille's Le Cid. It is a contemporary version whose diegesis has been slightly disrupted. Indeed, without touching the original text, the editing and arrangement of the shots illustrate in parallel with scene 3 a different interaction between the characters, which will disrupt the course of the story.
