Die einsame Spaziergängerin 1979

60 min📅 1979-01-01

Overview

During the approximately one-hour performance, the performer holds an iron rod in her hand, which she uses to move a video camera mounted on a tripod at the edge of the painting. The filmed hands of the performer can be seen on two monitors using the closed-circuit method, in which what is recorded is played back immediately. During the performance, the piercing sound of a whirling wood, a ritual instrument of the Australian Aborigines, can be heard.
