Cesenatico, a town located on the Romagna Riviera, has always been synonymous with seaside tourism. Every 100 meters, an endless series of massive buildings alternate—structures that, over the years, have welcomed generations of teenagers during the summer: the colonies, many of which have since been abandoned and left to decay.
