Overview

Wealthy rancher Robert Marsh has a relationship with a local Indian woman named Nona, who gives birth to his child. Marsh deserts Nona and their child to marry Vera Blanchard, an Eastern girl, with whom he has a daughter that becomes the "idol of his heart." While hunting, Marsh's gun accidentally explodes, blinding him. His only source of consolation after this tragedy is his daughter.
