Overview

An amateur documentary made as a tribute to the Milanese city. The camera lingers on its most characteristic sites, particularly along the Navigli (the Martesana). It shows elements that today have almost entirely vanished from the modern urban landscape: people washing clothes in the canal, sheep grazing in fields that had briefly escaped the construction of apartment blocks, and a hunting outing that begins on foot from the cityβ€”still visibly connected, along its edges, to the rural world.
