The funeral of Rui Barbosa, held in March 1923 in Rio de Janeiro, was one of the largest in Brazil in the First Republic. Known as the “Eagle of The Hague”, Rui Barbosa was a jurist, politician, diplomat, speaker and candidate for the Presidency of the Republic.
