Overview

The nature documentary Tulimaata tutkimassa (1931), produced by the Finnish Geographical Society, describes the stages of an expedition to Tulimaa in South America. The four-man expedition, led by Professor Väinö Auer, studied the structure, vegetation and geology of the archipelago's bogs in 1928 and 1929. The film has been partially destroyed.
