Making Beds 1971

Overview

Speak Out, produced in 1971 by Radio Bremen with English actors, was the second English language course on German television after Walter und Connie (1963, with Anne Lawson and Brian McDermott). The episode shows real footage of the au pair of the Tanner family, a middle-class English family, learning how to make beds the English way. The characters speak British English at a slightly slower pace. In the three parts of the film, the student is familiarized with the English way of making beds and
