Overview

Midnight Molly' is hit by a car while evading the police, and mistakenly identified as the wife of John Warren, candidate for mayor, whom she resembles. The real Mrs Warren has run off with another man, George Calvin, and John Warren is happy to recognise Molly as his wife. Molly continues to impersonate his wife on her recovery, saving Warren from the consequences of a divorce scandal. Calvin learns of the deception and tries to blackmail Warren, without success. A detective pursues Molly, but
