Overview

The staff at the White Cat Inn watch with concern and suspicion as Johan, the postman, pays frequent visits. This dapper, suave gentleman persistently courts Kristýna, the widowed innkeeper, even though he otherwise despises the locals. Kristýna's son Vítek dislikes him.
