Train Fixation 1977

Overview

This work employs a system of ‘naturally occurring’ masks. The view of a street-scape is obscured by trains passing by on four parallel tracks-camera is run when train is passing. Train windows, doors, gaps, between cars, variously reveal or frame the ‘action’ taking place.
