Overview

The film depicts the struggle for survival of a poor civil servant and his family. Mazlum is in debt to the grocer, the butcher, and his landlord. He tries to support his family on the little money he earns. The landlord evicts Mazlum and his family, using their accumulated debts as an excuse.
