Overview

Tabung realises that he must free his fellow villagers from the extortion by loan sharks, Jontro and Sadar. But Tabung, is a cripple, so he gets the help of the Farmer and Fisherman Cooperative Bank. He commutes to the city to handle the villager's credit, and is supported by his neighbour, a war widow.
